Being the #2 child, our son seems like he’s not photographed nearly as much as his big sister was at this time in her life.

This weekend I set out to rectify that by especially looking for portraits of him that I would want to display.

The weekend was filled with activity, so much so that the kids are just little homebodies on Sunday afternoon — they were just so tired from all the running around on Saturday.

After Kate’s soccer game, we headed to the nearby Albertson’s for their Easter festival which includes an Easter Egg candy hunt for the kids, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn and a visit from the Easter Bunny (who frightened Sparky like a horror movie).

This morning the kids wanted to stay home and play in the yard, kick around the soccer ball and play hide and seek in the back.

It was a great weekend and felt like I’m starting to make some photographs of Sparky that I am really liking.
