Here are several portraits from my recent High School Senior Portrait session with Tucker, who is a member of the Class of 2013 from J Serra H.S. in San Juan Capistrano.
He loved the portraits, so did his family and I did as well!
We had a solid three hour session in several locations that took advantage of the special spring flowers and some very cool spots that went well with what Tucker was hoping to create from the session.
He’s originally from Montana and he wanted to find locations that had a very “Big Sky” kind of feel. I did some scouting the morning before our session which turned out very well because not only was I able to find those special types of location that fit with that “Montana” feel, I also found those beautiful spring flowers.
And finally, what high school senior portrait session in SoCal would be complete without a beach portrait session? We ended the day at Capo Beach and it turned into the perfect type of day for a beach session.
Not too many clouds to take out the sun, but instead just the perfect amount to create interest and drama and wonderful orange colors in color and amazing tones in sepia as the sun got closer to the horizon.
Thanks to assistant Daniel Frazier for his great help throughout this session and Congratulations to Tucker and good luck in college next year!
