Last month, while back in Wisconsin for several portraits and a wedding in Chicago, I had the opportunity to photograph my nephew’s football game.  He’s the big kid wearing #70 and he’s heading off the field during a time out to confer with their offensive coordinator.  To say I’m proud of him would be a huge understatement.  He just was named — for the second year in a row — to the 1st team All Conference as an offensive lineman, and he’s only a junior.  He’s doing so well that he’s already been garnering some looks from schools around the country.  In fact, the University of Michigan invited him to the school to watch a game.  He couldn’t have gone to a better one — it was the first night game at “The Big House” as they call it, and he got to see an amazing game against Notre Dame.

He’s a good kid.  He works hard, does well in school and treats my kids great.  Hard to believe I was there to photograph his birth for the family and he was so big at birth that the doctor joked that someone should call the Packers, we have a lineman for them.

How right he might be.
