Ten days ago I traveled to NYC to do an extended engagement session for Naseem and Shaffiq.  The couple makes their home on the upper East Side though will be married later this summer here in California.  I’ll be documenting their wedding day over the course of four days, so I’m really excited about the events ahead.  In the meantime, we wanted to create just a killer set of photographs showing them in their current location for a special portrait session sign in book for the wedding.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day which started at Central Park and ended up at Times Square, and with such great spots as Grand Central Station (42nd Street), The Ground Zero memorial, Battery Park (both are second generation immigrants), hanging out in DUMBO and a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge in between, before we grabbed dinner at a lovely restaurant in the East Village.  Shaffiq’s Mom was in town later that night for Mother’s Day the next day and so we all had a terrific time.  Looking forward to working with them and their families as we get closer to the big day!
